Brian Hebert

Chief Executive Officer

Brian is the Chief Executive Officer of ABear Resources, LLC. He brings over 26 years of leadership, engineering, and operational experience in the upstream oil and gas industry with an operator (BP) and service company (Halliburton). He has 21 years in leadership roles, 14 years in operational drilling, completion, and interventions roles, 4 years in Onshore US in multiple basins, and VP and Global Director roles setting strategy and leading teams to deliver profitable business. Brian holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Prior to founding ABear Resources, Brian served as Director of Global Operations for BP's Wells Organization, where he was responsible for global wells operations functional standards, multifunctional project execution, and the company's global Safety Agenda.

Before his tenure at BP, Brian held key leadership positions at Halliburton, one of the world's largest oilfield services companies. At Halliburton, he was responsible for global operations excellence and discipline health, overseeing service delivery across multiple continents.

Brian's unique background—spanning both major integrated oil companies and leading oilfield service providers—gives him a comprehensive understanding of the entire oil and gas value chain, from exploration and production to service operations and project execution.

His expertise includes operational efficiency improvement, large-scale project management, safety systems implementation, and team leadership across diverse global operations.

Correne Loeffler

CFO

Correne is the Chief Financial Officer of ABear Resources, LLC and serves as Audit Committee Chair and Board Member of Zefiro Methane Corp. She brings over 20 years of leadership experience across finance, energy, and real estate, with prior CFO roles at Key Energy Services, The Howard Hughes Corporation, and Whiting Petroleum. Earlier in her career, she held senior finance roles at Callon Petroleum, JPMorgan, Bank of America, and Accenture. Correne holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.

Jonathan Frederick

VP Operations

Jonathan is the VP Operations for ABear Resources, LLC and President of Hadaway Consulting and Engineering. He brings over 20 years of leadership, engineering, and operational experience in the Permian Basin. He has deep experience drilling over 4,000 wells in the Permian and over 200 horizontal wells in the Eastern Shelf. He is an area expert in horizontal well design, execution, and operations with extensive experience and relationships with local operators, landowners, and services. Jonathan is a Texas licensed Professional Engineer and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
